Someone approached me about donating the use of a used car to take to the prison to teach the skills of being a auto mechanic. This lasted for several months for approximately 10 trips. This initiated an invitation from the warden to Van Gates, Ed Brown, and myself for lunch. The purpose was to thank me and hopefully obtain the same results from the Chevy and Buick dealer. Lunch was served by a former waiter from the Indiana Club as a trustee. He allegedly murdered his wife.
